Opening an Account
From a traditional investing account to planning for retirement or college expenses, clients may choose from a variety of accounts including IRAs to suit their financial needs. Regal requires no initial minimum amount to open a domestic account; however each financial representative may have individual requirements.
Each day, available cash balances from trades and distributions are automatically transferred into a money market fund. During the account opening process, Clients may choose from a full family of money funds through Reich & Tang Funds, our money market provider. Types of funds include general, government, state-tax-free, institutional and offshore allowing investment in the fund that best suits individual needs. Clients may also benefit from a range of comprehensive cash management services, including the VISA check card.
A minimum of $5,000 equity in any combination of U.S. Dollars and/or U.S. exchanged traded securities is required for international accounts. If you are requesting an account with margin or options privileges, a minimum deposit of $2,000 is required however additional requirements may apply depending upon specific transactions and positions in your account.
To be approved for check writing, you must have at least an initial balance of $5,000 in cash and/or securities. At this time, Visa® Check Cards are not available for International customers.

Regal allows trading of options in IRA's based on an investor's individual suitability. Option trading in IRA's includes call buying, put buying, cash-secured put writing, spreads, and covered calls. Unsecured (naked) puts and naked call transactions are not permitted in IRA's. We reserve the right to determine what trading is suitable for an IRA.
